• Added visual fixes and security enhancements for Windows Vista. 
• The Bird ID desktop installer now supports only Windows XP and Windows Vista.  Users of earlier versions of Windows can download Bird ID version 1.2 below.

Bird ID version 1.2

Added page numbers for two new field guide books:

• National Geographic Field Guide to the Birds of North America, Fifth Edition (c) 2006
• Kaufman Field Guide to Birds of North America, (c) 2000, Updated 2005

Bird ID version 1.2 is the last version of Bird ID to support versions of Windows prior to Windows XP (Windows 98/2000/ME).  If you have an earlier version of Windows, you can download Bird ID 1.2 here for Windows only or Windows + Palm.
